# Privacy notice — draft for A Map of Quiet Places

## Information on your device

The app stores voyage and atlas progress, Discoveries, Postmarks, equipment, Knowledge, generations, settings, sail colours, permanent purchase entitlements and identifiers of delivered Apple transactions locally. It keeps a previous valid save for recovery and preserves damaged files when recovering or deliberately beginning fresh.

There is no game account, studio game server, cloud-sync service, social system or leaderboard. The app does not upload your save. Optional export uses Apple's share sheet and sends a file only to the destination you choose. Device and iCloud backups are managed by iOS and your Apple settings.

Removing the app may remove its local progress and consumable balance. Permanent purchases can be restored using the same Apple Account. Delivered consumable packs cannot be restored on a new installation independently of a retained save or device backup.

## Purchases

Apple processes optional in-app purchases. The app verifies transactions to provide items once and restore eligible permanent ownership. Galax Games does not receive payment card details. Apple maintains transaction and refund records under its own policies. There are no subscriptions.

## Advertising, tracking and permissions

This V1 has no advertising SDK, ad-removal product, developer-operated analytics or tracking. It requests no location, camera, microphone, contacts or tracking permission. Core gameplay works offline. Apple's operating-system services, App Store and optional device diagnostics remain subject to Apple's settings and policies.

## Support messages

The support link opens your email application. If you send an email or attach an exported save, we receive your address and the content you choose to provide. We use this to respond and investigate the issue. Nothing is sent automatically. Please avoid passwords, verification codes and payment details.

Contact info@gallaxgames.com to ask about or request deletion of support information you supplied. The owner must set and disclose the actual retention policy before this draft becomes the final published notice. We do not add email information to a marketing list through this app.

## Your choices and updates

Music, effects, appearance, motion and haptics have saved controls. You can use the complete game without purchases or an internet connection. There is no game account to delete. Removing the app removes local data subject to your own backup copies; Apple manages its separate records.
