# V1 release checklist

## Completed locally

- Separate SmallWorlds Xcode project and bundle identifier; earlier games preserved.
- Authored three-habitat planet, eighteen original creatures, twelve landmarks, routes and directional previews, useful companions/tools, six upgrades, evolving camp, Mastery and optional field seasons.
- Whole free collection, dependable focused research, permanent encounter and first-visit records, chronological offline journeys, recovery saves and persistent settings.
- Original finished artwork, icon/launch assets, animations, five music master files, eighteen calls and six effects. Four AAC listening arrangements supplied.
- StoreKit 2 delivery, saved entitlements, refund handling, restoration and interrupted-purchase recovery tested in Xcode's local environment.
- Core, app-host and UI tests; compact/large iPhones; optimized Release launch, measured simulator performance; accessible text, touch targets, dark mode, audio and save checks. See VERIFICATION.md for exact evidence and limitations.
- App Store copy, genuine screenshots, purchase descriptions, privacy/support drafts and organised website document library.
- ARM64 iPhone Release archive builds successfully with signing disabled. This proves device compilation, not distribution signing.

## Required before App Store submission

1. Unlock the owner Mac and add the correct Apple Developer account in Xcode. Team 77MA38V8FY is the existing proposed team; confirm ownership of this separate game and the legal seller identity. Only an Apple Development identity was visible. A provisioning-enabled export failed with “No Accounts” and “No profiles for com.gallaxgames.smallworlds were found”. Create the app's identifier/profile and use an appropriate distribution identity or Apple-managed signing. Then create a fresh signed archive and validate/export it.
2. Create the separate App Store Connect app record and the five product IDs documented in IAP_CONFIGURATION.md. Confirm Paid Apps agreements, banking/tax details, prices, territories and business details. Upload product review screenshots. Local StoreKit configuration is not live configuration.
3. Install on a physical iPhone, including the oldest OS/device the owner intends to support. Verify actual touch feel, VoiceOver navigation, speaker/headphone balance, silent switch, interruptions, background return, memory/thermal behaviour and an extended play session. The paired iPhone 15 Plus was unavailable; no physical-device pass is claimed. Only iOS 26.5 simulators were exercised; iOS 17 remains a compatibility/device check.
4. Test purchases and restoration with Apple's sandbox on that signed build, then TestFlight. Verify pending approval, offline ownership, refunds and installation/restore on another device. No real payment, production receipt or TestFlight result exists for this app yet.
5. Deploy the prepared Gallax Games website through the owner's intended hosting and verify HTTPS deep links, support/privacy pages, audio and documents anonymously. At the latest check the root/www returned HTTP 403 and new game paths HTTP 404 from Apache. The available Vercel connector returned no teams. GitHub/Lovable source sync does not make those URLs publicly reachable. The earlier private Emberwake support preview remains private.
6. Confirm the legal brand/seller spelling, support retention policy and privacy draft, complete the current age/content and privacy questionnaires, add private App Review contact details in App Store Connect only, select screenshots and submit the signed app with its purchases. Do not publish a personal phone number in the website documents.

The owner decides when to submit and release after these gates are evidenced. There are no ad-network setup requirements for this game because V1 contains no advertising.
